Vol. 92 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Radio Reception at Wexford.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs what report was made to him by the inspector whom he recently sent to Wexford to deal with complaints made about bad reception from Radio Éireann.

Considerable attention has been devoted to an examination of the causes of interferences with reception from Radio Éireann and tests which were carried out recently by my direction in Wexford and other southern counties confirmed that bad reception of Radio Éireann programmes at certain times is due to interference by signals from foreign stations. Everything possible is being done to minimise the interference.
