Vol. 105 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Bread Ration.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he is aware that Kevin Bissett, of The Hill. Malahide, who is employed as a plasterer, and has to travel seven miles daily to and from work, has been refused a permit to purchase a supplementary allowance of bread; and if he will state the reasons why this application was turned down.

Mr. Bissett's application was refused because he is not engaged in a type of employment to which the scheme for the supplementary allowances of bread and flour applies.
