The number of retired civil servants living on the 1st July, 1949, whose pensions are less than £3 10s. 0d per week is 1,347 and the total amount of these pensions is £137,651 a year.
Can the Parliamentary Secretary give any indication as to when it is proposed to introduce-legislation to increase civil servants' pensions?
