Vol. 133 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Division of North Tipperary Estates.

asked the Minister for Lands what progress has been made by the Land Commission in regard to the division of the estates taken over by them in Borrisokane, Templemore and Youghlarra, Nenagh, North Tipperary.

It is not apparent from the question what estates the Deputy has in mind. The Land Commission have on hands 1,378 acres on 16 estates and holdings in North Tipperary. Of this area, only 242 acres are arable or grazing land which, it is expected, will be allotted this year. The balance is bog, which will be allotted as early as possible.
