Vol. 133 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Kerry National School.

asked the Minister for Education if he will now state when it is proposed to advertise for tenders for the erection of the new national school at Killahan, Abbeydorney, County Kerry.

The working drawings and specification for the new school at Killahan, for which a grant has been sanctioned by my Department, are at present being prepared in the Office of the Commissioners of Public Works.

Owing to the large number of school building projects on hands there is an unavoidable delay in the completion of arrangements preliminary to the actual building work in these cases, but it is hoped that it will be possible to reach the stage of invitation of tenders for the new Killahan National School without undue delay.
