Written Answers. - Beara Peninsula Teachers.

asked the Minister for Education if he will indicate (1) the numbers of teachers and assistants employed in the Beara Peninsula (a) under the National Board of Education prior to 1920; (b) in 1930; and (c) in 1952; and (2) the attendance figures for the same periods.

The reply to this question is in the form of a short statistical statement which, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to have included in the official records. Following is the statement:—
