The total quantity of milk received by central creameries and cream - separating stations registered under the Dairy Produce Act, 1924, was 211,637,000 gallons in 1938; 169,936,000 gallons in 1948; 222,973,000 gallons in 1950; 206,242,000 gallons in 1951; and 203,315,000 gallons in the period from 1 January to 19 November, 1952, which is the latest date up to which the information is available. The figure for 1952 is subject to revision.
