asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state, in respect of each financial year from and including 1945-46, the contributions made from the Road Fund to county councils and county boroughs, distinguishing maintenance and improvement main road grants from county road improvement grants, and the estimated contribution for the financial year 1955-56; further, the total charged upon the fund for repayment of advances in each of the years in question.

As the reply is in the form of a tabular statement, I propose, with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to circulate it with the Official Report.
