I am at present considering the contents of this report and the nature of the action, if any, which should be taken thereon. I propose to publish the report as soon as practicable.
I believe that report has been in the Department since last July and the Minister is no doubt aware that there are many restrictive trade practices in regard to these goods, which will continue so long as that report remains unpublished. Could the Minister tell us when it will be practicable to have it published and why it is impracticable at the present time?
When the Deputy sees the gargantuan character of the report, she will at least know some of the difficulties. There are other aspects of the matter to be considered also. I would hope, given a reasonable ration of good fortune, that we might be able to get the report published in about six weeks' time.
