asked the Minister for Agriculture what quantity of butter has been exported in each month from 1st May, 1956 to date; and what quantities he expects will be exported in the coming months.
Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Butter Exports.
The answer to the first part of the question is in the form of a tabular statement which, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, will be circulated with the Official Report.
As to the second part of the question, I expect that about 2,500 tons of creamery butter produced during the year ended 30th April, 1957, will be exported in the coming months. Exports of butter produced from 1st May, 1957, onwards will depend on the production and market situation from time to time.
