asked the Minister for Lands when the Land Commission will have the portion of the Molloy Estate, Farney Castle, Thurles, County Tipperary, which they have had in their possession for some time, divided amongst the deserving applicants of that area; and whether they have considered the propriety of acquiring the remaining portion of the estate for division.
Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Division of Tipperary Estate.
Proceedings for the acquisition of portion of this estate comprising 185 acres in the townlands of Garrynamona, Crossoge and Farneybridgehill are in the final stages but possession has not yet been obtained. It is not possible therefore to indicate at present when allotment will take place.
It is expected that a decision regarding the acquisition of the balance of the estate will be taken at an early date.
