Vol. 172 No. 7

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business in the following order:— Nos. 2 and 4. It is not proposed to interrupt Government business for Private Members' time. I understand none of the Deputies wish to proceed with Private Members' time, so Government business will proceed until 10.30 p.m.

Could the Tánaiste say in connection with No. 14 on the Order Paper, which has been postponed as sub judice until the hearing by the World Court, if he has any information as to when that court is likely to hear the case?

I shall have the information conveyed to the Deputy.

Is it intended to sit to-morrow?

Pending a decision by this court, will the Government consider releasing these prisoners and calling a truce?

In reply to Deputy Mulcahy's question, if the business ordered for to-day is not completed, yes; otherwise——

Would the Tánaiste mind repeating that?

If the business ordered for to-day is completed, it will not be necessary for the Dáil to sit to-morrow.

What are the proposed sittings for next week?

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Did the Tánaiste say Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday next week?

Will we have any other business apart from the Referendum (Amendment) Bill and the Third Amendment of the Constitution Bill for next week?

No other business before the 25th February.
