The Dáil went into Committee consider amendments from the Seanad.

Aire na Gaeltachta (Mícheál Ó Móráin)

I move that the Committee agree with the Seanad in Amendment No. 1:—

Section 6—In subsection (1), page 6, line 36, before "is made" to insert ", or a loan pursuant to a certificate under subsection (1A) (inserted by subsection (4) of section 5 of this Act) of section 8 of the Act of 1929."

Tá dhá leasú anso ón tSeanad agus táim tóilteanach glacadh leo. This is only a question of two amendments. They are really drafting amendments introduced by Seanad Éireann. I should like to get them now if the House is agreeable.

Could the Minister tell us what the effect of them is?

The first one is to ensure that the relief from rates will apply to the second and third chalets as well as the first. The other amendment is a purely drafting one.
