A survey of this catchment has been completed and the design of a scheme is in hands. Pending the preparation of a scheme and compliance with the requirements of the Arterial Drainage Act, 1945, in the matter of exhibition, consideration of observations and confirmation, I am not in a position to say when drainage work can be commenced.
