Vol. 182 No. 5

Order of Business.

Business, as set out on the Order Paper, will be taken in the following order: Nos. 1, 3 and 8 and, in No. 8, Votes 47, 23 to 31, 53 and 54. Questions will be taken at 3 p.m.

There is no objection to taking No. 1 today but perhaps the Minister would take it after Questions?

Yes, I suggested that.

It is an amendment passed by the Seanad. It is consequential on an amendment passed in the Dáil. It is purely formal. It is my own amendment.

It will be taken after Questions.

Or, if the Minister's Estimate finishes before Questions, we could take it at the end of the Minister's Estimate.

The Minister has to inform the Dáil that he proposes to accept the amendment. It will then be taken after Questions or on the conclusion of the debate on the Estimate, if that should happen before Questions.

On the conclusion of the debate on the Estimate.

I wish to inform the Dáil that I propose to accept the amendment to the Hire-Purchase (Amendment) Bill passed in the Seanad last night.
