asked the Minister for Justice the dates of making of the principal rules governing the procedure of the Supreme Court, the High Court, the Circuit Court, the Cork Bankruptcy Court and the District Court respectively, and the number of occasions on which each of the rulemaking committees met in the year ended 31st December, 1960; whether he received any reports from these committees in this period; and whether any of the recommendations made have been implemented.

The dates of the rules are as follows:—
Supreme and High Court—22nd February, 1905; 13th July, 1926; and 25th July, 1936.
Circuit Court (including Cork Bankruptcy Court)—3rd July, 1950; 4th October, 1954; and 3rd January, 1955.
District Court—9th July, 1942, and 31st October, 1947.
In the year 1960, the Superior Courts Rules Committee held two meetings, the Circuit Court Rules Committee one meeting, and the District Court Rules Committee three meetings.
I did not receive a report from any of these Committees in the year ended 31st December, 1960.
