The Garda Síochána co-operate with the Dublin Corporation in the enforcement of the anti-litter bye-laws and have instituted proceedings in a number of cases each year for several years past.
However, the primary responsibility for the enforcement of these bye-laws rests with the Corporation and, accordingly, it is to the Corporation that any representations for more strict enforcement of the bye-laws should be addressed.
