asked the Taoiseach in respect of each of the years 1957, 1958, 1959, and 1960 and to date in the current year the number of cases in which (a) cases stated to the High Court and Supreme Court, (b) orders of certiorari, and (c) orders of mandamus have been sought by or on the advice of the Attorney General, a Minister of State or a Garda authority, stating the number of cases in which the order sought has been granted in respect of each such application in each year.

As the reply is in the form of a tabular statement, I propose, with your permission, Sir, to circulate it in the Official Report.
