The catchments affecting the Sligo-Leitrim area listed for treatment in the main drainage programme are the Moy, Erne, Bonet, Owenmore, Boyle, Eslin and Rinn and Black River. Work is in progress on the Moy. An engineering survey for the Erne will be completed this year when the design of a scheme will be put in hands. It is hoped to commence a survey of the Bonet next year. The other catchments will be reached in due course. In addition, under the arrangement for intermediate rivers, a survey of the Duff catchment has been completed and a scheme is in preparation and will be available for consideration shortly.
