The duties of the officer referred to in the Deputy's question during the relevant period included certain duties performed by a Barrack Adjutant and Quartermaster where such posts exist. These duties included responsibility for the barrack fuel stores but not for the barrack services or for bulk issues of clothing to units other than an 20 Cathlán Coisithe (FCA).
