Vol. 196 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Baldonnel (Dublin) Sewage Disposal.

16.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he is aware that farmers in the region of Baldonnel Camp who are trying to eradicate tuberculosis from their herds are seriously concerned about the pollution of streams by effluent from the sewage disposal plant at Baldonnel; and, if so, what action he proposes to take to have the matter rectified.

My Department has received no complaints to this effect. A number of herds in the Baldonnel Camp area are already attested, and the eradication of bovine tuberculosis from their herds in the area is proceeding satisfactorily.
