asked the Minister for Lands what is the position regarding the Castletownbere pier, County Cork.
With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 65 and 66 together.
As the position regarding the development of a major fishery harbour at Castletownbere was outlined to the House on 6th December last and 7th February, I presume both questions relate to the existing pier for which Cork County Council is responsible. Consultation about the condition of that pier has already taken place between engineers of the Office of Public Works and of the county council.
