I am informed by Bord na Móna that in the year ended 31st March, 1963, sales of machine turf were £2,634,101; milled peat £1,323,098 and turf briquettes £1,177,006.
Can the Minister state if the present sales of turf briquettes tax the capacity of the two factories we have established?
That would be a separate question.
It is a simple question. Are we able to sell the entire output of the two factories?
We are able to sell their output.
Is it proposed to add to their capacity for the production of turf briquettes?
Not at the moment.
