Vol. 207 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Walkinstown (Dublin) Lighting.

30.

Mr. Ryan

asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware that, notwithstanding some slight improvement in the public lighting of Walkinstown Cross, Dublin, last year, the roadway there is still inadequately lit at night; and if, having regard to the fact that seven roads meet at the point, he will ensure that there is further improvement in the lighting there, particularly when the lighting on Walkinstown Road and Cromwellsfort Road is being improved in the near future.

I am not so aware. I am informed by the Dublin County Council that the lighting is adequate for the present lay-out.
