Vol. 207 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Parking Meters.

17.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether he is prepared to defer granting his authorisation to the amendment to the Dublin Parking Bye-Laws, under which it is proposed to introduce parking meters into Dublin, until such time as adequate off-street parking accommodation is provided and a period of trial has been given to a free system of parking with discs.

No proposals for the amendment of the Dublin Parking Bye-Laws, 1962, have been submitted to me for my consent. If and when any such proposals are submitted to me all aspects of the matter will be fully considered by me.
