asked the Minister for Local Government, with reference to a reply of 30th January last, the number of trees and shrubs which the Dublin County Council require the developers of the open site at College Drive to plant therein, and the estimated cost of providing them; whether the Council have received any indication as to when the planting will take place; and if the Council will take the space in charge immediately such planting takes place.

Mr. Ryan
I understand that one of the conditions attached to the grant of permission for development of College Drive required "that all grass margins be levelled, soiled, seeded and planted with suitable trees at intervals of not more than 60 feet." I have no information regarding the estimated cost of providing these trees or whether the planting has been carried out. I understand that the council will not take the open space in charge separately from the remainder of the estate.
