The survey of unfit housing has been completed by 17 county councils and all but one urban authority. The results are in the form of a tabular statement which I propose with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to circulate with the Official Report.
I am not in a position to state the number of houses on which work will commence in 1964/65. The number of houses in tender, however, at 31st December, 1963, which is some indication of likely commencements is also set out in the statement.
