It is open to interested parties to apply to the Land Commission under the Land Acts for partition of lands held in common. The relevant statutes are section 24, Land Act, 1939; section 25, Land Act, 1950; section 23, Land Act, 1953 and section 41, Land Act, 1965.
In reply to inquiries regarding the partitioning of a number of commonages in the area mentioned, the persons concerned were advised by the Land Commission to submit formal applications and maps in accordance with the statutes. On receipt of such proposals, the matter will be investigated by the Land Commission forthwith.
