I am unable at this stage to add anything to the replies I gave to questions on this matter on 12th May, 1965, but I can assure the Deputy that all possible courses which might alleviate the position are being examined.
Would the Minister envisage a quota system in respect of the importation of anthracite?
I cannot give any indication as to what action will finally be taken, but action under several headings is being mooted, and negotiations are being carried out as rapidly as possible in the circumstances.
