The following are the figures in respect of the year 1964-65: (a) £12.9m; (b) £7.2m; and (c) 55.8 per cent.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will have set out side by side in respect of each year from 1962-63 to date (1) the total rates collected or payable to each of the 27 county councils, (2) the total rates entering into farm expenses in the annual agricultural statistics, expressing (2) as a percentage of (1), and (3) the Exchequer subventions paid to each county council and total for the State in respect of relief of rates on agricultural land.
The total rates collected by each county council in 1962-63 are shown in the Returns of Local Taxation for that year and the figures for the following years were given in reply to a question by Deputy Clinton on 14th July, 1965. A breakdown of the total rates on agricultural land and farm buildings for each county is not available. The estimated amount of Agricultural Grant payable to each county council in 1965-66 is given in reply to Questions Nos. 69 and 70. The amounts for 1962-63 are shown in the Returns of Local Taxation for that year. Details for the remaining years are as follows:—
