asked the Minister for Finance if he will have a scheme drawn up to extend the drainage of the Arglo river, from Grallagh to its confluence with the Grange river.

The Arglo river has been surveyed in the course of the survey of the Suir catchment area, and it will be considered for inclusion in the scheme to be prepared for that catchment under the Arterial Drainage Act, 1945.

asked the Minister for Finance when the work of drainage on the Carrigahorig river, Nenagh, County Tipperary will commence.

I am not in a position to say when work on the Carrigahorig catchment drainage scheme will commence.
