asked the Minister for Lands if the Land Commission are still interested in the taking over of the Donovan Estate, at Gurtagarry, Toomevara, County Tipperary for division amongst a large number of very deserving applicants in that area.

The Land Commission have no proceedings for the acquisition of this property but the case is on record for inquiry.

43.

asked the Minister for Lands whether he has yet completed his inquiries regarding the Whitfield Estate, Modreeney, Clough-jordan, County Tipperary; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The Land Commission have now decided to carry out an inspection of the lands with a view to ascertaining their suitability for land settlement purposes—the requisite inspection notice has been served under the Land Act, 1965.
