Vol. 223 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Cork School Water Supply.

4.

asked the Minister for Finance if he is aware that the new national school at Churchtown South, Ballycotton, County Cork, has no water supply or flush lavatories; and that the central heating which has been installed cannot be operated without a water supply; and if he will take steps to see that a water supply is provided for this school.

The recently erected national school at Churchtown, County Cork, has been provided with modern sanitary facilities and a central heating installation on an understanding from Cork County Council that a public water supply would be available. There has been some delay in the water supply scheme but it is understood from the county council that water will be available for the school later this year.
