asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he has any right of appeal against Dublin Corporation's refusal to permit the erection of a letter-box at the location proposed by his Department in Sutton Park Estate; if he proposes to exercise it; if he will state the grounds on which permission has been withheld by the corporation; and what alternative arrangements are proposed for the provision of essential postal services in the area.

19.
As the corporation's objection to the site proposed for the letter-box was a reasonable one, based on planning considerations, the question of appealing against the decision does not arise. I have no doubt that in co-operation with the corporation a mutually acceptable alternative site will be found when the development of the estate is more advanced. In the meantime it is proposed to erect a temporary letter-box.
