Written Answers. - Pensioners of State-Sponsored Bodies.

114.

asked the Minister for Justice if he will state for the State-sponsored bodies under the aegis of his Department the number of pensioners with pensions of (a) under £1 per week, (b) £1 to £2, (c) £2 to £3, (d) £3 to £4, (e) £4 to £5, (f) £5 to £7 10s, (g) £7 10s to £10 and (h) over £10 per week; and the total number of pensioners.

The answer is that there are no such bodies.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he will state for the State-sponsored bodies under the aegis of his Department the number of pensioners with pensions of (a) under £1 per week, (b) £1 to £2, (c) £2 to £3, (d) £3 to £4, (e) £4 to £5, (f) £5 to £7 10s, (g) £7 10s to £10 and (h) over £10 per week; and the total number of pensioners.

There are no State-sponsored bodies under the aegis of my Department.

There are no State-sponsored bodies under the aegis of my Department.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state for the State-sponsored bodies under the aegis of his Department the number of pensioners with pensions of (a) under £1 per week, (b) £1 to £2, (c) £2 to £3, (d) £3 to £4, (e) £4 to £5, (f) £5 to £7 10s, (g) £7 10s. to £10 and (h) over £10 per week; and the total number of pensioners.

The information asked for is not available to me.

asked the Minister for Health if he will state for the State-sponsored bodies under the aegis of his Department the number of pensioners with pensions of (a) under £1 per week, (b) £1 to £2, (c) £2 to £3, (d) £3 to £4, (e) £4 to £5, (f) £5 to £7 10s, (g) £7 10s to £10 and (h) over £10 per week; and the total number of pensioners.

According to information supplied to my Department, the number of pensioners is (a) nil, (b) 2, (c) 2, (d) 2, (e) 1, (f) 1, (g) 1 and (h) 2, totalling 11.

Certain of the persons concerned are in receipt of pensions from other sources as well, e.g. Army pensions, contributory old age pensions.
