The answer to the first part of the question is "Yes". In regard to the second part, I would refer the Deputy to my letter on this subject which was issued to all Dáil Deputies on 3rd March, 1967. The memorandum enclosed with that letter has been sent to manufacturers of timber houses and other interested parties, including county managers, and is available in the Housing Grants Section of my Department for issue to members of the general public on request.
