The value of imports in June, 1966, was exceptionally low by comparison with other months in 1966 and with June, 1965. The British seamen's strike undoubtedly contributed to this. Imports in June, 1967, were not exceptional and, in fact, they were about £800,000 lower than for May, 1967.
