When is in due course? Is the Taoiseach still keeping the little secret close to his heart? It must be very important.
I gave you notice yesterday, a Cheann Comhairle, that I would ask your permission to raise a question regarding the Ballybrittas Post Office and the manner in which the appointment was made. I have no desire to compete with Deputy Gilhawley. If I had an undertaking from the Taoiseach that the House will meet tomorrow I would agree to raise the matter on the Adjournment tomorrow night.

Deputy Gilhawley is in before Deputy Flanagan.
I do not desire to compete with Deputy Gilhawley. If he wants to raise his question regarding the local government matter I am prepared to give way to him, but only on condition that I hear from the Taoiseach that the House will be meeting tomorrow.
Let the Deputy fix it up between himself and Deputy Gilhawley as to who will go on tonight and who tomorrow. This is a matter for yourselves.
Can the Taoiseach fix up about the general election?
There is no point in taking the advice of the Minister for Finance to raise this matter in three weeks time. I want to raise this before the general election. This is a dishonest and disgraceful piece of conduct in my constituency and must be exposed.

Is the House meeting tomorrow? If the House is meeting tomorrow I certainly will agree to have the question raised tomorrow with your permission and with your co-operation, a Cheann Comhairle, which I have always received because you are a man of great courtesy. If the Taoiseach would display the same courtesy as the Chair, it would help me to solve this problem.
I will display as much courtesy towards Deputy Flanagan as he will display towards Deputy Gilhawley if he allows Deputy Gilhawley to go on tonight and Deputy Flanagan tomorrow.
Would the Taoiseach be prepared to meet Deputy Gilhawley and myself——

In that event I presume the Taoiseach will not trouble to bring his own car. He will avail of Deputy Cosgrave's invitation and will travel with him. I would like to have this matter sorted out.
