asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he will introduce legislation to provide free travel and free electricity for the widows of British Army Pensioners.

Free travel and free electricity are already available, under the schemes administered by my Department, to the widows aged 70 or over of British retirement pensioners. Further extension of the schemes is not contemplated.
