That a supplementary sum not exceeding £10,000 be granted to defray the charge which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the 31st day of March, 1970, for a grant (grant-in-aid) to An Chomhairle Ealaíon.

I wonder could the Minister indicate what are the present plans for the Arts Council. There was a suggestion that there would be three centres. I think a figure of £150,000 was mentioned. What is the present position? A further sum of £10,000 is now required. Would the Minister indicate what the immediate future will be?
It is proposed to reorganise An Chomhairle Ealaíon and considerably increase the resources at its disposal and have in some organisational form or another three separate divisions embracing the visual arts, music, ballet, literature and drama.
These plans are going ahead?
