743 herdowners in County Sligo and 1,433 herdowners in County Leitrim applied to participate in the beef cattle incentive scheme in 1969. With the exception of a small number of cases in each county which are still under investigation all herdowners who qualified for grants arising from their two herd inspections in 1969 have already been paid.
