The information requested by the Deputy is not available. I understand, however, from the Agricultural Credit Corporation that as from the beginning of their current financial year, which commenced on 1st May, 1970, they have been arranging for the compilation by computer of certain statistics of loans issued. The statistics will include information as to the amount issued in loans to each county. The statistics will not, however, be processed until the results for the whole financial year ending on 30th April next are available. If, therefore, the Deputy asks a similar question some weeks after 30th April next, I hope to be in a position to give him statistics for the period 1st May, 1970, to 30th April, 1971.
