Vol. 256 No. 4

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business in the following order:— No. 23 and, in No. 23, Votes 26 and 26 Supplementary and No. 3, 34, 35 and 4. It is proposed to take Vote 26 Supplementary with No. 3 and No. 4 with Vote No. 34. Questions will be taken at 2.30 p.m. It is suggested they will last for two hours.

It is proposed to devote two hours to questions?

Two hours.

That will be 2.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. What is it proposed to do with the remaining half hour? In view of the number of questions would the Taoiseach consider continuing questions until five o'clock?

I have no objection. We will have to do something about questions.

There is a very big backlog of questions.

The 8th December happens to be a Wednesday and I throw out the suggestion now that we ought to sit all that week.

We think we should sit every day every week from now until Christmas.

We will let you off for Mass on Sunday.
