The institute has over a number of years financed its very substantial capital development from its own fund-raising activities and has not received capital grants from central sources apart from one sum of £5,000 granted in 1969 towards certain maintenance works. I have under consideration an application from the institute for capital assistance towards a number of projects and I hope to be in a position to communicate with them in the near future on the matter.
