asked the Minister for Health if a decision has been taken on the future of St. Catherine's Hospital, Pigeon House Road, Dublin.
Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Hospital.
8.
I would refer the Deputy to my replies to similar questions in May, 1970, and May, 1971, in which I intimated that pending the outcome of discussions on the proposed reorganisation of hospital services in South Dublin, as envisaged in the Fitzgerald Report, it would not be possible to take a decision about the future of St. Catherine's Hospital. These discussions are still in progress but the stage has not yet been reached at which a decision can be taken regarding the future of St. Catherine's. In the meantime, the hospital will continue to be used for the accommodation of patients from the Meath Hospital.
