The Economic Commission for Europe has made a recommendation to member Governments that the upper side of the bumper should be not less than 420mm and the lower side should be more than 390mm from the ground.
The European Communities have made no provisions regarding the height of bumpers, nor are any contemplated by the Communities at present.
