Vol. 283 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Limerick Estate.

9.

asked the Minister for Lands the reason for the delay in acquiring the Keays estate, Caherconlish, County Limerick.

(Cavan): The proceedings for the compulsory acquisition of this 233-acre property which were initiated in June, 1974, are being pressed forward as rapidly as possible. An objection to acquisition came for hearing before the Lay Commissioners on 9th October, 1974, and was disallowed. The lands are at present being valued and it is expected that negotiations on price will commence at an early date.
