This is a matter for Dublin County Council. I understand that the council are in touch with the reputed owner of the wall with a view to having it lowered to an acceptable height. The council also have proposals for widening of the adjoining public road which would seem to involve the demolition of the wall in question. A compulsory purchase order relevant to the road widening has been submitted to me for confirmation and I expect to give a decision shortly.
