The Government are contributing to international technological co-operation by involvement in the scientific and technological activities of various bodies such as the European Communities, OECD, the Council of Europe, the Council of West European Science Research Councils, the European Science Foundation, the European Molecular Biology Organisation, the International Energy Agency, and the European Space Agency and the United Nations through its various agencies, for example, UNESCO and the Economic Commission for Europe.
The Government are also concerned in the Euro-Arab dialogue, directed, inter alia, towards promoting technological collaboration.
