Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Water and Sewerage Schemes.

asked the Minister for Local Government the cause of the delay in commencing the following schemes in County Donegal: (a) Falcarragh sewerage scheme extension (b) the extension of Falcarragh water scheme to Derryreel crossroads (c) Dunfanaghy sewerage scheme and (d) the extension of Creeslough water scheme to Hernhead, Port and Magheramena.

(a) The position as regard the Falcarragh sewerage scheme is as stated in my reply to the Deputy's question of 31st March last, that is, that contract documents for Stage 2 are under consideration in my Department. The position with regard to the other three schemes is as follows: (b) contract documents in respect of the Gortahork/Falcarragh water supply scheme extension to Derryreel crossroads and Ballyness North are under examination in my Department. They were submitted on the 12th April, 1976; (c) tenders in respect of the Dunfanaghy/Portnablagh sewerage scheme are under examination in my Department. These were submitted on the 20th April, 1976 and (d) there are at present no proposals before my Department for extensions of the Creeslough water supply scheme.

asked the Minister for Local Government if his Department have approved of the extension of the water supply from Aughacushla water scheme to Duagh, Camp, Tralee, which was submitted by Kerry County Council.

No such proposal has been submitted to my Department.
